Physiotherapy Specialist Group (FPG)
The Physiotherapy in Geriatrics Specialist Group (FPG) was established in 1995 in order to cater for the particular needs of physiotherapy with elderly people. The group focuses on the following key areas:
- Promoting the importance of geriatrics in physiotherapy
- Networking of theoretical and practical expertise
- Representing physiotherapy in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Continuing professional development
- Exchange between members and maintaining contact with other groups involved in working with the elderly
