Persons permitted to join the FGAG: those who have completed a vocational training, or who have been awarded their final degree (college, university), have proof of gerontological further training for at least 30 days as well as performing gerontological activities amounting to at least 40 percent. Retired persons are valuable members due to their practical knowledge.

The annual subscription of SFR 80.- comprises the following: single membership SGG, SFR. 50.- (SGG single membership is a requirement for membership in a specialist group) and SFR.30.- for the FGAG membership.
