Applied Gerontology Specialist Group (FGAG)
Gerontologists with qualified advanced training in gerontology are represented in the FGAG, which was set up in 1997. The groups’ objectives are:
- To highlight the importance of applied gerontology
- To publicise the work and achievements of specialists in applied gerontology
- To look after the interests of its members in employment and sociopolitical discussions
- To strengthen and expand the network within gerontology
- To create a Chair of Gerontology
