Applied Gerontology Specialist Group (FGAG)

Gerontologists with qualified advanced training in gerontology are represented in the FGAG, which was set up in 1997. The groups’ objectives are:

To highlight the importance of applied gerontology
To publicise the work and achievements of specialists in applied gerontology
To look after the interests of its members in employment and sociopolitical discussions
To strengthen and expand the network within gerontology
To create a Chair of Gerontology
